SECOG
Overview

The South Eastern Council of Governments (SECOG) is the designated Planning and Development District serving southeastern South Dakota.  SECOG provides a variety of services to municipal and county governments including land use planning, community project financing, and other related technical assistance services.  SECOG’s membership includes Clay, Lincoln, McCook, Minnehaha, Turner, and Union Counties as well as the 40 municipalities located within these counties.

Through SECOG’s association with Dakota BUSINESS Finance  and the South Eastern Development Foundation, SECOG also helps promote economic development in the region by providing financing for new and expanding businesses.
