SECOG assists its members with applying and administering grants from the South Dakota Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED). Further details on GOED funding is listed below: 

Flyer for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). CDBG funds are for community projects for a range of community development needs, and typical projects include water and wastewater infrastructure, community centers, workforce training, medical centers, and senior centers. Grant amounts have been increased effective October 1, 2023 to a maximum of $2,020,000 on a project. Applications are due April 1st and October 1st each year. Flyer includes SECOG logo and SD GOED logo. Photo of overview of a city. Flyer for Local Infastructure Improvement Program (LIIP). Grants apply to construction or reconstruction of public infrastructure associated with an economic development project. Open to any political submdiviisons in SD, tribal government, or local development corporation. Applications are due January 31st, April 30th, July 31st, and October 31st of each year. Flyer includes a photo of SECOG's logo and SD GOED logo.
